It's your soap and washcloth all in one. Made with 100%
Merino or Alpaca wool roving and handcrafted soap bars. Wool has natural
anti-fungal properties and will retain its freshness. As you lather the
soap, the wool remains tight around the soap making the bar last longer. The
felt shrinks along with the soap as you use it, and the casing can be reused
by slitting along the edge and inserting a new bar of soap.

You will need

  • a wooden soap mold
  • freezer paper
  • cardboard
  • tape
  • scissors
  • lining1

  • Cut the cardboard the same size as the bottom of the mold.
  • lining2

  • Measure out a single piece of freezer paper to fit the length of the mold.
  • lining3

  • Cut the freezer paper.
  • lining4

  • Place the freezer paper shiny side up and place a cardboard template in the center.
  • lining5

  • Fold the freezer paper lengthwise to the cardboard template.
  • lining6

  • Continue to fold the freezer paper to fit the template.
  • lining7

  • Turn and crease in the other direction. You will now have one piece of freezer paper that will fit perfectly inside the mold.
  • lining8

  • Remove the cardboard template and place the freezer paper down inside the mold.
  • lining9

  • Slowly open one end then the opposite side creasing and folding like you would a package.
  • lining10

  • Snip down the ends at the four corners just to meet the top of the mold.
  • lining11

  • Fold the freezer paper down over the top of the mold.
  • lining12

  • Secure it with tape. Do this to all four sides of the mold.
  • lining13

  • Finished, lined mold. Your soap, lining and all, will lift out once the soap has hardened. No soap will leakonto the wooden mold.
